Hi, I’m Maude!
I’m a sewist who creates whimsical accessories to infuse joy and character into daily life. I am very into playing with color and texture, patchwork, bringing new things to life from secondhand items and scraps. Clowns and the circus are a reoccurring theme in my work — they’re colorful and silly, and the world needs more of that.
My sewing journey started in 2024, motivated both by a need to find myself after some personal hardships, and by the desire to bring quality, sustainable pieces to my wardrobe. I quickly fell in love with the craft and the endless possibilities it offered me, and I began exploring artistic techniques like appliqué. I made my first clownimal coaster (Timmy the Mouse) and the rest is history!
The joy of reusing
My products are made from my own two hands, in my home, with materials chosen with great care. I work in good part from recycled fabrics, giving a new life to old bedsheets, table linen or clothes that could have gone to the landfill otherwise.
